Japanese-Colombian artist. Alex attended Miami-Dade College where she focused on painting, photography, music appreciation & dance. She continued her studies in painting & photography at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). Alex later specialized in Fine Arts studies at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles, CA.

In 2005 Alex started working as a commercial & fashion photographer in Miami & established Alex J Nakamura Photography.

In 2011 Alex founded Ghaadaven Art in Los Angeles geared to promote emerging artist, primarily street artists.

Alex J Nakamura currently lives & works in Los Angeles.
